Pulau RedangThe white sandy beach, crystal clear water and picturesque scene make Redang Island one of the most popular beach destination in Peninsular Malaysia. The Pulau Redang Marine Park is Malaysia’s first protected Marine Park. The largest of the archipelago is Pulau Redang itself, followed by the smaller Pulau Pinang and then seven small islands, Pulau Ekor Tebu, Pulau Kerengga Besar, Pulau Kerengga Kecil, Pulau Lima, Pulau Ling, Pulau Paku Besar and Pulau Paku Kecil.
Redang is a diver’s paradise with excellent visibility and rich diversity of coral reefs marine life. There are approximately 18 popular dive sites around the Redang archipelago. The most famous would be Pulau Lima. It was researched to be the most valuable entity within Redang Marine Park as the entire park’s marine environment can all be found in this islet!
“Big Mount”, a submerged mount around 80 meters located off the northern tip of Pulau Lima. Often encounters of pelagic species such as tuna, groupers and is a great dive site to spot Whale Shark, Black-tip Sharks and Manta Rays.
