Tioman Island
The island of Pulau Tioman, off the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia is a tropical paradise of golden sand and blue sea. It is a popular dive site for both beginner and advanced training. It is the largest island in the Pahang Marine Parks, which comprise of other smaller islands like Pulau Renggis, Sepoi, Labas, Soyah, Chebeh, Tulai, Sembilang and Seri Buat. Excellent site for diving but yet less commercialized compare to Pulau Redang and Sipadan. The water around Tioman Island is carpeted with stony corals, soft corals and colourful sponges. The terrain consists of large boulders jumbled on top of one another. Among the boulders are short tunnels that you can swim through.
